Compliance Sample

This article illustrates the default compliance journey on LEVEL INFINITE PASS. Based on the chosen country/region during account registration, their compliance journey may differ. For more information, see Login Sample.

Age verification

The age verification process includes real-name verification for PC games in South Korea. The certification type for age verification is displayed based on the player's selected country/region:

• Not required
• Self-verification
• Credit card (For US only)
• Email (Including South Korea)

General compliance journey for minors:

For the compliance journey for minors that includes messaging verification, see Messaging verification.

Not required

During registration, if the selected region does not require verification, the player is only required to agree to the compliance agreements:

Self-verification

1. During registration, if the selected region requires self-verification, the player is required to agree to the compliance agreements and confirm that they are above the legal age of majority.
   

2. If the player confirms that they are above the legal age of majority, then proceed with the compliance process and enter the game. Else, if the player is underage, continue to step 3.

3. The authorization popup is displayed, and the player will be able to proceed with the compliance process and enter the game after parental consent has been obtained.
   

Credit card

1. During registration, if the selected country is the United States of America, the player is required to agree to the compliance agreements and enter their birthdate.
   

2. If the player is above the legal age of majority in the US, then proceed with the compliance process and enter the game. Else, if the player is underage, continue to steps 3-4.

3. Enter the web credit card verification process for minors.

4. The player will be able to proceed with the compliance process and enter the game after parental consent has been obtained.

Email

1. During registration, if the selected region requires email verification, and the selected region is not South Korea, the player is required to agree to the compliance agreements and enter their birthdate.
   

2. If the player is above the legal age of majority for their region, then proceed with the compliance process and enter the game. Else, if the player is underage, continue to steps 3-6.

3. The player enters the email of the parent, then clicks Send email. An authorization email will be sent to the entered email address.
   

4. From the email, the parent clicks Go to Authorization or Or click on this link to open the authorization page.
   

5. From the authorization page, the parent clicks Confirm and Next to complete the authorization, and a confirmation email will be received.
   

6. The player will be able to proceed with the compliance process and enter the game after parental consent has been obtained.

South Korea

1. During registration, if the selected country is South Korea, the player is required to agree to the compliance agreements and complete age verification according to their platform.

   • Mobile: The player selects their age group to complete age verification.
     
   • PC: According to Korean compliance requirements, real-name verification is required. A webpage will be opened to proceed with real-name verification, and the actual verification logic is handled by the webpage.

2. If the player is above the legal age of majority for their region, then proceed with the compliance process and enter the game. Else, if the player is underage, continue with the email verification process for parental consent.

Messaging verification

To use the messaging verification feature, social feature controls has to be enabled from the backend, reach out to the Player Network representative for more details.

Based on game specifications, minors may be required to go through the messaging verification process after age verification:

During registration or login

Authorization from a parent is requested at the end of the credit card or email verification process.

Credit card

1. After Credit card verification is completed, click Next to enter the authorization page for messaging for minors.
   

2. Click Agree to complete the authorization, and a confirmation email will be sent.
   

Email

1. After Email verification is completed, click Confirm and next to enter the authorization page for messaging for minors.
   

2. Click Agree to complete the authorization, and a confirmation email will be sent.
   

Before using messaging

Authorization from a parent is requested before minors use messaging features in-game.

1. A minor attempts to use messaging features in-game for the first time.

2. The player is prompted verify their parent's email address to obtain authorization from their parent.
   

3. After the player clicks Send Email, an authorization email will be sent to the parent email address.
   

4. After receiving the email, the parent will need to follow the email verification process to complete the authorization.
   

Account deletion

1. A player opens the LI PASS Account Center, which includes a delete account button.
   

2. The player clicks the delete account button, then submits the account deletion request from the HTML5 page.

3. The player does not log in to their account during the cooling-off period, and the account will be deleted after the cooling-off period.

   note

   If the player logs in to their account during the cooling-off period for account deletion, the cooling-off period popup will be displayed:

   • Click Cancel to reactivate the account and enter the game.
   • Click Delete or the close button at the top right of the popup to maintain the cooling-off state and return to the login interface.
